  • 90+4’Hetemaj on the left is blocked out by Caceres. Chievo looking for a winner!
  • 90+3’Chievo slow things down in midfield… Moscardelli turns with a quick throw and almost scores with an incredible volley! He lobbed it with power from 40 yards out and Buffon was relieved to see it land on top of the netting!
  • 90+1’Pirlo cuts in from the left and strikes a humdinger towards the top corner which Sorrentino saves at full-length. Wowsers.
  • 90’Five minutes to be added on.
  • 89’The latest corner is cleared.
  • 88’Crazy pressure on the away goal late in the match, and top defending by Chievo to keep the Bianconeri out.
  • 87’Acerbi lambasted by the home fans as about 50 players fly into a few challenges inside the box. He was livid and grabbed someone by the shorts when on the floor… I think it was his own goalkeeper though! Who knows what is going on there.
  • 86’Brilliant from Del Piero and Vucinic: the former dinks a pass to the feet of the striker who flicks the ball up and plays the ball through for Del Piero over his own head. Del Piero controls with his thigh but a defender just blocks his strike for goal.
  • 85’Chiellini is limping.
  • 84’Pirlo clips a pass into the box and Del Piero goes down as he races with Hetemaj to get to the ball! The Finn spins in anger to make sure a penalty is not given – replays show that the Italy legend did indeed make the most of it, and he continues to argue the toss with the ref.
  • 83’Chievo change: Kamil Vacek on for Paloschi, who is on loan from Milan.
  • 81’Wasteful from Pirlo on the edge of the box to give Chievo the chance to break… Acerbi finds Paloschi but he uses his hand to control before playing Moscardelli through on goal.
  • 80’Del Piero to take a corner. It is low but gets into the danger area before it is cleared. Pirlo looks to strike from outside the box, deflected for another corner.
  • 79’A draw here and Milan would have the upper hand in the table… although the Bianconeri could join them on 64 points with their game in hand.
  • 78’Juve change: Alessandro Del Piero on for Lichtsteiner, to gasps of hope.
  • 77’It is no less than they deserve.
  • 76’GOAL FOR CHIEVO!
  • 75’Chievo on the ball and looking good. Juve a bit nervous.
  • 73’Moscardelli has already scored four goals in this campaign, all in the last 20 minutes of play, including one against Cesena last Sunday.
  • 72’Drame takes a quick throw and receives it back. The cross to the back post is attacked by Moscardelli – his header flies just wide!
  • 71’Juve change: Caceres, on loan from Sevilla, on for Marchisio.
  • 70’Luca Rigoni crosses for the head of big striker Moscardelli, but Buffon is out to claim.
  • 68’Moscardelli with a thumping strike from a way out that Buffon pushes away under pressure from attackers looking for a rebound. Juve are not exactly hanging on, but they could be pegged back here.
  • 67’Alex Del Piero warming up on the touchline… this is his last season with Juve.
  • 66’Drame in the wars again, falling over and his head colliding with Vucinic’s knee. He’s okay.
  • 65’It really is insane that Juve have not lost in the league this season… and are not even top of the table! They would be with games in hand though
  • 63’Chievo changes: Davide Moscardelli and Perparim Hetemaj on for Luciano and Sammarco.
  • 62’Matri on the charge on the left, shooting from some way out – but the ball is blocked by his own man Giaccherini.
  • 60’Drame booted and goes down holding his leg.
  • 59’Chance for Juve: Sorrentino saves with his legs from Padoin, who twisted and turned to earn space for the shot, and Frey hacks away under pressure.
  • 58’Matri goes to ground looking for a free-kick after he was tackled by Nicolas Frey. Throw-in to Chievo.
  • 56’Luciano touches a free-kick sideways for Acerbi to strike hard and low – Buffon beats it away!
    • 54’Stephan Lichtsteiner, preferred to Martin Caceres at right-back today, plays a one-two and is taken out by Drame on halfway. The crowd clamours for a second yellow for the Senegalese, but the ref lets him off.
    • 53′ Chievo defending corners amid a wall of noise from the home fans.
    • 52′ Chiellini dinks a ball straight out of play above Padoin – and the latter slips and lands on his back! Weird.
    • 51′ Vucinic attacks the near post from a free-kick on the left, but his effort is wide of the near post.
  • 49’Drame does not cover himself in glory again moments later when going down next to Padoin – he is booked for diving.
  • 48’Vucinic livid that he is not given a free-kick after Boukary Drame blatantly pulled him back by the shirt.
  • 47′ Luciano pokes a ball through that Buffon is alert enough to collect on the edge of his box.
  • 46′ The second half under way, with Chievo in all yellow now attacking the goal to our left.
  • 45+2′ The ref brings the half to an end with the Old Lady beating the Flying Donkeys. It’s not often you get to say that… Contact/follow Jon Symcox on Twitter
  • 45+1′ Giaccherini all alone on the left inside the penalty area, striking the dipping ball first-time and wide of the near post. Chance goes begging for Juve.
  • 45′ Two minutes to be added on at the end of the 45.
  • 44′ Paloschi has space on the right and finds Sammarco in the middle – his header is just over the near post. Close for Chievo.
  • 43′ Juve do not seem too intent on countering at pace, preferring instead to keep the ball – unlike them.
  • 42′ Chievo have gone six games without a draw (three wins and three losses).
  • 41′ Juve change: Andrea Barzagli must have a knock as he is replaced by Leonardo Bonucci.
  • 40′ Simone Padoin gets the ball out of his feet and strikes a splendid low effort towards the far corner, tipped around the post by Sorrentino.
  • 39′ Vucinic looking to latch on to a scooped pass over the top, but Chievo clear the danger.
  • 38′ Only Genoa have managed to score more than a single goal at Juve’s ground so far this campaign (2-2 back in October).
  • 36′ Vucinic, who has recovered from his knock, looks to burst through and into the box but Sorrentino is out quickly to claim.
  • 35′ I love the way that Italian refs have their surnames on the back of their collars. Perhaps the strong personality of Pierluigi Collina is the reason for this…
  • 34′ Pirlo screaming at referee Andrea Gervasoni after he refused to award him a free-kick. The ball had gone and there was barely contact in his back, but he threw himself down. Shame on you.
  • 33′ American Michael Bradley, who has been impressive so far, sends in a ball from the right – but the flag is up.
  • 32′ Worries for Juve as Montenegrin Vucinic pulls up in an innocuous challenge.
  • 31′ Men over for Sammarco as he delivers from the right for Chievo, but the cross is poor and cleared easily.
  • 30′ The Bianconeri have drawn the most games so far in Serie A, including three of the last four.
  • 28′ Nothing comes of the set-piece. The fans are leaping up and down at points and very noisy… nothing like the old Stadio Delle Alpi.
  • 27′ Giaccherini weaving some magic on the left side of the penalty area, eventually laying off to Vucinic whose shot is blocked and flies out for a corner.
  • 26′ Vucinic flying down the right with the ball at his feet. Into the box and his shot-cum-cross is safely across the goal for Chievo. Alessandro Matri was arriving in the box.
  • 25′ Away defender Francesco Acerbi in an attacking position and twists to meet a cross with his head… wide of the far post.
  • 24′ Sorrentino leaps to palm the kick away under pressure from Chiellini, and wins a free-kick in the process.
  • 23′ Corner to the Old Lady, who are the only side still unbeaten in the top five European leagues (13 wins and 11 draws).
  • 22′ Excellent play from Juve to hunt down Chievo and ping a few passes to move upfield. Mirko Vucinic tries his luck from distance, but the shot doesn’t even beat the first defender.
  • 20′ Pass into feet of Chievo striker Cyril Thereau, who turns and can score… great block from Buffon as he flies out. They collide and must shake off knocks.
  • 19′ Andrea Pirlo’s curled cross from a free-kick was flicked on by Giorgio Chiellini and came off the post, surprising keeper Stefano Sorrentino who sort of palmed it out. There was De Ceglie to react with the header. He may have been just offside when the centre-half headed the ball.
  • 18′ JUVE OPEN THE SCORING! De Ceglie from close range!
  • 16′ Luciano drives forward down the middle and strikes powerfully for goal, but it is sliced massively.
  • 14′ There are some full-blooded challenges flying in, but nothing nasty as yet.
  • 13′ Pressure building on the Chievo goal. Antonio Conte’s side drew 1-1 against Milan in their last Serie A game courtesy of Alessandro Matri’s late strike at the San Siro. Serie A results and fixtures
  • 12′ Giaccherini attacking down the left flank again, but his cross is diverted away from goal at the near post.
  • 11′ Juve midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini goes down under the challenge of Luciano in the box and the stands and players scream for a penalty… goal-kick awarded. The away captain barely touched him and he went down very easily.
  • 9′ The Old Lady have always scored at home against Chievo, while the Gialloblu have failed to score in four of their previous eight games at Juve’s ground.
  • 8′ Free-kick from the right that is headed for goal by Alberto Paloschi… the connection is not great and the ball runs out for a goal-kick.
  • 7′ Luciano with a sliding tackle on home left-back Paolo De Ceglie to prevent a cross.
  • 6′ Chievo coming into what has been an open game so far.
  • 5′ Juventus have never lost at home against Chievo in Serie A (six wins and two draws).
  • 4′ Paolo Sammarco with a bullet header which Gianluigi Buffon saves impressively. Positive from the visitors.
  • 3′ Immediate pressure on the away defence at the atmospheric Juventus Arena, with Chievo heading away several crosses.
  • 2′ Chievo are unbeaten in their last four meetings against Juventus in the league: after Chievo’s win in January 2010, these two sides have since shared three draws in a row.
  • 1′ Off we go in the first half, with Juve kicking from right to left.
  • 19:40 Juventus are without Simone Pepe and Arturo Vidal who are suspended, while Luca Marrone is on the bench as he has a slight knock. Striker Sergio Pellissier is banned for Chievo.
