Algeria have eased into the final round of qualification for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations after a 4-1 win over Gambia on Friday night.

Leading 2-1 from the first leg, it means the North Africans were comfortable 6-2 aggregate winners in the tie.

Foued Kadir gave them an early lead in the second leg, before Slimani Islam doubled that advantage inside seven minutes.

Momodou Ceesay pulled one back for Gambia on 15 minutes, but Islam scored his second just after the break to make the tie safe.

Islam then completed his hat-trick mid-way through the second period to give the score a more emphatic look to it.
