JOHANNESBURG – Tuesday’s earthquake in South Africa has once again highlighted the fact that earthquakes can strike anywhere and at any time.
Scientists say parts of Africa are especially vulnerable due to the tectonic forces shaping the continent.
But how prevalent are earthquakes on the continent? And where are the most sensitive areas?
