Defending champions Zambia must beat Burkina Faso to ensure their make it through to the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals, while their opponents need only a draw to go through.

Zambia will again be without first-choice keeper Abdoulaye Soulama, who completes his two-game ban.

Kennedy Mweene, who has saved one penalty and scored another in these finals, will stand in once more.

Burkina Faso will hope top scorer Alain Traore continues his excellent form.

The midfielder has scored thee goals so far, including two in the handsome 4-0 win against Ethiopia that has put the Burkinabes on the verge of reaching the last eight.

Zambia coach Herve Renard:

“It’s the final group game against Burkina Faso, so we will soon see what happens next.

“We have our chance and destiny in our own hands. I think we are still capable of qualifying to the quarter-finals.”
