AFCON 2013: John Obi Mikel’s African Nations Cup warning
JOHN OBI MIKEL has warned his Nigeria team-mates not to believe they are favourites for African Nations Cup glory.
The Super Eagles face outsiders Burkina Faso in today’s final.
And Chelsea midfielder Mikel insisted: “We will be patient and keep playing the way we are playing.
“We go into the final still like an underdog team.”
Mikel’s Blues team-mate Victor Moses is an injury doubt for the final.
The sides met at the start of the tournament in Group C where they drew their opening game 1-1.
