African health ministers will gather in Addis Ababa this week under the theme” African Leadership for Child Survival – A promise Renewed” to accelerate to progress on reducing child mortality throughout the continent.

The 2day begging Wednesday will help countries on the continent share experiences, according to a joint statement issued here Monday, by the Ethiopian health minister’s director-general for health promotion and disease prevention, Dr,Tewondros Bekele, and the ministry’s public relation head, Ahmed Emano.

the health ministers from 54 African counties and health professionals from different international institutions are expected to take part in the meeting, a peer-to-peer effort led by Africans.
