JOHANNESBURG – The Presidential Task Team spokesperson, Rorisang Tshabalala said certain party members of Agang have applied for an interdict to stop a meeting to oust party leader Mamphele Ramphele from taking place.

The faction ready to give Mamphele the boot was to meet under Agang-SA’s banner in Alexander on Sunday

Andries Tlouama, Deputy President of Agang, said, “We received this interdict at 3:30am.”

“We have counter-filed and hope to have this interdict overturned so that we can still hold the meeting today.”

Tshabalala could not be reached for comment.
