This is really bad news for Clintonworld. This isn’t a case of Ben Carson beating Hillary this week. We’re talking about the Dem frontrunner who got a $14 million advance losing out to a guy who wasn’t even on her radar a year ago in total book sales.

According to Nielsen BookScan numbers provided to The Daily Caller, as of Aug. 10, Carson’s “One Nation” has sold 225,000 copies, compared to 223,000 copies for Clinton’s “Hard Choices.”

Despite all the recent stories about how doomed conservative books are, books by right-leaning figures continue to dominate the non-fiction bestseller lists for the year.

Carson’s book has been out for a month longer than Hillary’s, but hard cover book sales don’t tend to linger that long. And there isn’t even any match in the name recognition department.

Even most Republicans probably don’t know who Carson is. But everyone knows who Hillary is.

But maybe that was the problem. Hillary is old news. She has nothing new to offer. Carson is an intriguing new face.
