A member of the House of Representatives, Yomi Ogunnusi, has come to the aid of students who perpetually fail the West African Secondary School Certificate (WASSCE).
Ogunnusi, who represents Ifako-Ijiaye constituency in Lagos, said the poor performances recorded during the 2014 West African Secondary School Certificate (WASSCE) could be as a result of students being discouraged to read due to erratic power supply.
He made the observation while presenting scholarships to over 100 secondary school students in Ifako-Ijaiye, constituency, Lagos, at the weekend.
