EAST JEBEL MARRA

Two children and seven cows died from drinking polluted water in the area of Rahad Jeng in East Jebel Marra on Friday.

“Hawa Adam Saleh (12) and Najmeldin Yahya Idris (10) died after they drank water from the Rahad Jeng well”, a listener reported to Radio Dabanga from the area.

He explained that the children were grazing cattle in Rahad Jeng. “Seven cows also died after drinking from the same water source.”

“The water must have been contaminated by the aerial bombardments in the area.”
