The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) has condemned the presidential directive suspending the residency training programme for doctors in Nigeria.
The association’s President, Dr Kayode Obembe at a media briefing in Abuja, demanded immediate reversal of the directive.
He directed his members not to accept any letter of sack issued to them by the government.
He said the doctors would not suspend its more-than-a-month old strike even if the government reinstated the sacked resident doctors.
