Ebola scare in Aso Rock: Governors Obiano, Akpabio, Orji greet with ‘fistshake’ [PHOTO]
Wisdom, defined as the ability to think and act using knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense, and insight, is now a part on speech that governs the way of living, especially people on the African continent.
Not leaving to chance, Governors Willy Obiano (Anambra State) Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom) and Theodore Orji (Abia) at a recent meeting in Abuja, hit fists rather than shake hands as norm for adult men.
The pose, which was taken for the cameras, was a way of educating Nigerians on how to avoid transmission of the virus from one probable carrier to an uninfected person.
Nigeria has now recorded deaths and more cases of persons down with Ebola which has killed nearly 1000 in West Africa.
Serria Leone, Guinea and Liberia are worst affected countries.
President Goodluck Jonthan has since declared a national emergency to contain the disease. He also ordered the release of N2billion emergency fund to stop the spread of the virus.
