Arab Times- An Ethiopian housemaid was arrested at Kuwait International Airport for the possession of ‘Qat’, a narcotic substance.

Customs officers at the airport got suspicious when the housemaid appeared nervous when she approached the luggage check counter.

This prompted the officers to search her luggage, leading to the discovery of ‘Qat’ in seven coffee bags. She was referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.
