Ethiopia’s PM Desalegn Expresses Satisfaction with Addis Ababa Summit Outcomes

Ethiopian Prime Minister, Hailemariam Desalegn expressed his satisfaction with the results of Al Bashir-Salva Kiir summit in Addis Ababa.
In a joint press conference with the President of the African mediation, Thabo Mbeki, after the end of the summit, Desalegn said that the summit covered all issues between the two countries, Abyei, the border and the implementation of the agreements signed between them, especially the joint cooperation agreement, including security arrangements.
He stressed that the summit assigned the mediation to prepare matrix that contains specific time for implementing the agreements on the ground.
The Ethiopian Premier stressed the keenness of both presidents, Al Bashir and Salva Kiir on the implementation of the agreements seriously. He pointed out that he felt quite comfortable for seriousness of the two presidents in the implementation of what was agreed upon.
Desalegn expressed his conviction that the summit achieved its objectives and that the two sides are serious in implementing what has been agreed upon.
