Ezeemo urges empowerment for Anambra youths

ezeemo_apcMr Godwin Ezeemo, an industrialist has called for the cooperation of wealthy Anambra indigenes to empower the youths.

Ezeemo, who made the call Tuesday in Awka, commended the government of the state for its proactive measures in tackling security challenges, noting that Governor Willie Obiano started his administration on the right footing with securing the people’s lives and properties in the state.

He affirmed that he had empowered over 1,000 youths in the state with his establishments, both educationally, in his publishing and Agricultural firms in Awka, the state capital, Onitsha and Umuchu in Aguata Local Government Area of the state.

“I know we have many willing wealthy people of the state waiting to help the youths, this is a wake-up call’’, he said.

Speaking on late Prof. Dora Akunyili, the former Minister of Information, he described her as a strong character and a front-liner of what she believed in.

“She exemplified herself as a good manager in NAFADC and a leader per excellence as a minister of information”, he said.
