Fabianski signs for Swansea on a free transfer from Arsenal
Lukasz Fabianski has penned a four-year deal with Swansea, after leaving Arsenal at the end of his contract.
The Polish goalkeeper, who played second fiddle to compatriot Wojciech Szczesny at the Emirates, becomes Garry Monk’s first signing since he became the Welsh club’s permanent manager.
Fabianski played a starring role as the Gunners ended their nine-year wait for a trophy, saving two penalties in the FA Cup semi-final against Wigan Athletic.
The 29-year-old stopper will officially become a Swansea player on July 1.
