Enyeama WC 2014Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, has insisted that they are not afraid of France, ahead of their round of 16 meeting on Monday.

The African champions qualified as runners-up from Group F and will now face Didier Deschamps for a place in the quarter-finals.

Nigeria has never reached the last eight of a World Cup before, but Enyeama is confident they can go ahead and do it.

“We fear nobody,” the 31-year-old said in an interview with L’Equipe.

“We have a culture for football. It’s our way of life. We work for that and we must show the world what we are capable of.

“To be honest, we have a great confidence in ourselves.”
