Gambia extends flight ban to Nigeria

The Gambia government through its relevant ministries has extended a ban on air passengers bound for Banjul from the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the latest West African nation to be hit by the deadly Ebola virus. It came after reports emerged Monday that the government through the Ministry of Transport, Works and Construction has barred some airline companies in Banjul from picking passengers from Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone, countries hardest hit by the epidemic.
