PROPHET Israel Oladele Ogundipe of Genesis Model International, a parish of Celestial Church of Christ (CCC), has joined the league of radio and TV station owners in the country.

While still awaiting a credible license from the National Broadcasting Commission, he said he had floated an Internet radio called GenesisOnlineRadio along with an Online TV named GenesisTVOnline.

The online radio, according to Ogundipe, commenced transmission two months ago and it currently has over 2000 listeners across the globe, while the TV station berthed last Sunday during an international convention tagged “ Bethel 2014” organised by the church at its headquarters in Alagbado, Lagos.

“Genesis Online Radio and TV are gospel music channels, lifestyle and entertainment stations. It runs 24 hours a day with programmes and news to keep listeners grooving,” Ogundipe stated.

According to Head of Radio Services,Genesis, Mrs. Omobolanle Akinriyibi, “We are currently working on getting a major license from the NBC and before it will materialise, we decided to go online. And very soon, we shall launch our TV on a notable cable in the country. But for now, we are keeping it under wraps.”

Speaking on the vision of both platforms, Samuel Temitope, Head of IT, Genesis Media, said: “The platforms are veritable tools established to educate, teach and spread the gospels across the world with the aim of reconciling people to God.”
