Wunti-Dada has been one of the known security challenge points within the state capital with a lot of unusual incidents.
In 2010,some men and women suspected to members of the dreaded Boko Haram group were arrested there after they kidnapped the daughter of a former head of the Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja.
Guns and a lot of ammunitions including improvised explosives divices were discovered in their rooms.
But when contacted on phone, the 33 Artillery Brigade spokesman told The Nation that he was not in a position to comment in the incident and asked that the Army headquarters in Abuja be contacted.
The Bauchi State Police Command Spokesman, DSP Haruna Mohammed had earlier referred our correspondent to “contact the Army for details”.
