When six–year-old Emily Wanjiru took centre stage on Wednesday, little did the audience know she would move them to tears — tears of laughter. Her biggest fan, President Uhuru, made good use of his handkerchief as his tears flowed throughout her 10-minute performance at Sagana State Lodge in Nyeri county. In her winning solo verse Mvua Hii (this rain), Emily, a pupil at Gachororo ECDE Centre, relived the bedwetting nightmare that many young children face.
