Ibadan comes alive for Bull Fuji Talent Hunt finale
TODAY, a total of eight finalists will slug it out in the grand finale of the Bull Fuji Talent Hunt scheduled to hold at NTA Ibadan, Oyo State.
The search for the new talented Fuji acts, involving 352 talents, has been on for over two months at zonal competitions in Ibadan, Ogbomoso, Osogbo and Akure.
Two aspiring artistes were picked to represent each zone, making the eight best finalists.
While Kazeem Taoreed Akanni and Kazeem Ajayi Aremu are to represent Ogbomoso zone, Idris Akanbi and Opeyemi Akanbi will represent the Ibadan zone. While Tope Ajani and Ayemona Adewale will represent Akure, Wasiu Okikiola and Akorede Akeem will represent Osogbo zone.
“It is going to be an epic battle among the eight we discovered in our search. Yoruba land is full of potential world-class Fuji music acts. No doubt, Ibadan will rock today. It will be 10 hours of non-stop thrilling Fuji music. Apart from this, we have Taye Currency, Muri Thunder and Nurudeen Antenna (Winner of Season 1) as guest artistes,” said Lanre Alabi of Kingsize Entertainment. The president of the Fuji Musicians Association of Nigeria (FUMAN), Moroof Ayinde Shado and the national executive members will be attending the event, according to the organisers.
Now in its second season, the Bull Fuji Talent Hunt, which is packaged by Kingsize Entertainment, is powered by Bull Gin/Dark Rum brands from the stable of Intercontinental Distillers Ltd.
