It’s official! Everton sign Eto’s on two-year deal
The former Cameroon skipper has been without a club, since he was released by Chelsea at the end of June, following a one-year spell at Stamford Bridge.
Eto’o held talks with Ajax and Liverpool, but Everton boss Roberto Martinez is the one who has secured the 33-year-old, who could potentially face Jose Mourinho’s men in Saturday’s late kick-off.
The former African Footballer of the Year, has scored over 250 goals in his club career and won the Champions League and La Liga three times as well as Serie A, the Coppa Italia, Club World Cup and Copa del Rey.
