NawakwiFDD President Edith Nawakwi says the dismissal of Wynter Kabimba should serve as a lesson to ministers who think they are in power to show Zambians how educated they are.

Nawakwi also said Kabimba has left no legacy at the Ministry of Justice because of his failure to show guidance on the constitution making process.

She said Kabimba had been the most arrogant Justice Minister Zambia has ever had.

“He will be forever associated with the fact that as Minister of Justice he never took time to provide guidance to deliver a constitution that people have desperately sought for a long time,” Nawakwi said.

“This must be a lesson to all the ministers who think these offices are there for themselves.”

She added: “The people give them these offices through the President so that they can serve them but unfortunately for some of our colleagues they think that these offices are for showing how educated they are.”

Kabimba has received no love from Zambians since his spectacular downfall last Thursday after he was fired by President Michael Sata from his two portfolios as Justice Minister and PF Secretary General.

While the rest of the country has been in a celebratory mode only, The Post Newspapers has been grieving through its editorials after the man they had been propping up as possible heir to President Sata was dealt a devastating blow.
