Abdulfatah-AhmedKwara State students, under the aegis of the National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS), have urged Governor Abdulfattah Ahmed to run for another term in office.

This, according to them, would enable him do more in educational development and youth empowerment.

The students who paid a ‘Thank you’ visit to the Governor at the Government House for the prompt payment of their bursary allowance, pledged their continued. Support for his administration.

They displayed various placards, expressing their appreciation to the governor’s “progressive and people-friendly policies”.

In his remarks, Governor Ahmed thanked the students for the show of support, assuring that he would continue to give priority to the welfare of the youths.

He added that the bursary and scholarship scheme in the state would be strengthened to ensure that students of Kwara state origin are paid as at when due.

Ahmed used the meeting to announce the donation of a bus and the appointment of a special assistant on students affairs.

Speaking, state chairman of the scholarship board, Isiaka Mogaji, disclosed that over 300 million Naira had been distributed nationwide to Kwara students.
