He insisting that the club’s hopes and aspirations are not defeated, stressing that the result was an indication that anything can happen in the game of football.
“If Nembe City who’s yet to find their feat in the league could garner a point in the full glare of our  spectators and fans then it is our time to shine on the road beginning from this mid-week match against Enyimba FC in Aba,” Lateef said.
Meanwhile, the Technical Adviser of the club, Lawrence Akpokona has apologised to the teeming fans of the club on the unimpressive outing against Nembe City, adding that there are better days to remedy the situation.
Akpokona while calming the fray nerves of the supporters maintained that the hopes and aspirations attached to his job is still much intact and that he is not ready to jettison it for anything.
“Although, Enyimba is a tough side but the league is still much open for any serious team to pick points anywhere,” Akpokona said.
