While the government and its partners understandably turn their attention to rebuilding the north, where the conflict hit hardest, there are still nearly 100,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs) left behind in Mali’s southern cities. Continued assistance is needed for these urban IDPs, who have been increasingly marginalized.
