…AS SIGNED INTERNATIONAL GOES ON AIR
This Friday will see the premier of the long awaited acting competition Signed International on Botswana television at 18.05.
The Friday show will beam auditions that were carried by the organizers throughout the country in 2012.
Producer Johson Otlaadisa of the popular flick Bandleng Season 1.0 said the first episode will only feature auditions and the top 10 selection.
“The real competition begins next week Friday where all the 10 selected will have to prove their capabilities in front of judges,” said Otlaadisa.
The winner of the 13 episode show will be rewarded with prize money starting from a whooping P50 000.00.
The winner will also relocate to South Africa to start a professional acting career under the management of one of the biggest casting agencies, Talent Etc (see www.talent-etc.co.za).
The agency boasts of big names such as Isidingo actor Len Cooper who also has a role in the programme.
“This will be the first television show that will operate like lotto.
The Prize Money is set starting from P50 000.00, but will increase.
We are giving companies and organizations the opportunity to contribute as well between now and end of January 2013,” Otlaadisa.
Signed international was launched in a glamorous event at Capitol Cinemas in Riverwalk and is powered by Brand Botswana.
