zambia-reports-given-lubindaKabwata aspiring parliamentary candidate Clement Tembo has continued his jibes at incumbent Given Lubinda by saying if the Member of Parliament will want to re-contest his seat in 2016, it will be a scandal.

Tembo said Lubinda had served for 13 years and still showed more appetite to feed off politics.

He said parliamentarians who had served more than 10 years should step aside as they had reduced politics to a source of livelihood.

Tembo said Kabwata had remained the same since Lubinda took over in 2001 and should not attempt in 2016.

The aspiring lawmaker who is believed to be flaunted by Lubinda’s adversaries in the PF is running a highly costly campaign that has seen him roll out poster, T-shirts and chitenge materials.

“Mr Lubinda has been MP for 13 years and there is nothing that has changed significantly since he took over. If he contests in 2016 meaning he will be looking to be an MP for 20 years which is a long time and shows that he cannot survive without politics,” he said.
