JOHANNESBURG – The ANC has taken aim at the Public Protector saying she is undermining Parliament and its processes.

The party has also questioned her neutrality.

Thuli Madonsela wrote to President Jacob Zuma asking whether he intends to respond in full to her report on the Nkandla upgrages. See the letter below.

The letter gives Zuma two weeks to explain why he shouldn’t pay back some of the money spent on upgrades to his private home.

Madonsela questioned why Zuma told the Police Minister to determine whether he is liable.

The ruling party said Parliament should be allowed to do its work and make recommendations.

See a full report in the video above.
