Former Finance Minister Trevor Manuel is set to take the hot seat later on Wednesday at the inquiry into the multi-billion rand arms deal.

Manuel joins a list of former cabinet ministers who are testifying at the Seriti Commission of Inquiry.

Meanwhile, Former Defence Minister Mosiuoa Lekota has faced tough questions while on the stand.

Activist Terry Crawford-Browne has been pressing the him on some of his decisions but Lekota was unapologetic about his time in office.

Lekota said, “I have thought very carefully about what I have done through my life. When I look to the things I did as a member of the African National Congress, I have nothing to apologise for or to regret or that I think was wrong.”
