Military: Boko Haram: We Won’t Cede Any Part Of Nigeria To Terrorists
As troops continue in their counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency efforts in the Northern part of Nigeria, the military has vowed to protect and preserve the territorial integrity of the country, saying that no part of its constituents will be left to terrorist and insurgent groups like Boko Haram Islamic Sect.
The Director of Defence Information (DDI), Maj-Gen. Chris Olukolade gave this assurance Wednesday in Abuja during the Nigeria Initiative media interaction on security issues.
Olukolade said that the armed forces will continue its offensive in Gwoza and other towns in Borno State threatened by terrorists who overran it last week.
