Vera Gaye said her son has been detained for the last 2 months without trial

A mother of a teenage boy accused of being part of a group of students that burnt the Apostolic Foundation School on May 12, has expressed frustration over her son’s prolonged detention without appearing in court.

Lemuel Elijah Reeves, also a student of the school, has not undergone trial since he was arrested and detained at the Monrovia Central Prison on May16.

Reeves’ mother, Vera Gaye,  who on Saturday, July 19 walked into the McDonald Street offices of the Daily Observer in tears, said she  does not  know why her son has not  been sent to court for prosecution.
