Mystery Surrounds Randy Kitwe Pastor’s Suicide
The mysterious ‘disappearance’ of the Kitwe Holy Fire Ministries bishop who is facing nine counts of indecent assault and sexual harassment charges will be in focus today when the case comes up before the Kitwe Magistrates Court.
The bishop who pleaded not guilty to the nine counts was out on bail but came in the limelight last week after claims that he had committed suicide by plunging himself in the Kafue river.
While a funeral has been held at his residence, few people believe he is dead as no body has been retrieved with only his wife being the only one claiming to have seen him jump in the river.
The police have been reluctant to confirm whether they buy into his suicide story or are keeping a low key inquiry in the matter.
Only a shirt was found by the riverside on the day the bishop allegedly committed suicide.
