NEW YORK – The remains of renowned anti-apartheid journalist Nat Nakasa, who died in exile are expected back in the country, on Tuesday.
Nakasa fell to his death more than five decades ago while living in New York — he took his own life when the government denied him the chance to head home.
His family flew in for his official send-off, hosted by the South African Consulate in a New York City Church.
Nakasa will be buried in a hero’s acre in Durban.
