Nevers-MangangoOpposition MMD president Nevers Mumba has arrived in Mangango for a five day campaign tour for the August 19 by-election.

Dr Mumba joins fellow opposition UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema who is camped in the area since last weekend.

The seat was held by crosstitute Taundi Chiseka, formerly MMD but opted to serve in the PF government who did not serve his seat from nullification.

UPND, PF and MMD are front runners to win the election that has been marred by violence allegedly perpetrated by imported ruling party cadres from Lusaka.

Charles Mwenzela will contest on the MMD ticket while Lyambai Lingweshi is on the PF ticket with Godwin Putu representing UPND.
