NFF disqualifies Odegbami, Ogunjobi, Umeh; clears Chris Giwa

OdegbamiThere has been a new twist in the race of the NFF presidency, as the Electoral Committee has disqualified three major aspirats for the post.

Former Nigeria international Segun Odegbami, former NFF scribe Taiwo Ogunjobi and current Acting Chairman of the Federation, Victor Umeh, are the affected people, while Chris Giwa, who owns Nigeria Premier League side, Giwa FC, is now the only candidate left in the running.

According to sources around the Glass House, Mr Giwa is the anointed candidate of the Minister of Sports, Tamuno Danagogo.

The NFF elections are scheduled to hold on August 26.
