Nigeria: A wide range of explosions rock Kano

MULTIPLE explosions, on Monday night, rocked the anciety city of Kano, causing fear among the residents of the town.

One of the explosions struck Sabongari area of Fagge Local Government Area of the state, between 8.00 p.m and 9.00 p.m on Monday.

According to a reliable source, the two other explosions occurred around Enugu Road and New Road in the town.

As of the time of filing this report, the number of casualties was yet to be known.

However, a source hinted that some people, who were alleged to have been hit by the explosion, were taken to a nearby hospital.

The spokesman of the Joint Task Force (JTF), Captain Ikedichi Iwoha, confirmed the explosions, adding that preliminary investigations were ongoing.

He also confirmed that the number of casualties was yet to be determined.
