Normalisation Committee of the Gambia Football Federation yesterday began a four-day tour of the administrative regions in provincial Gambia, a media release from Football House announced.

According to the release, the tour delegation will tour the North Bank, Lower River, Upper River, Central River and West Coast regions. The first leg, it added, will be completed on Sunday, when a similar tour to engage the Greater Banjul Area will take place.

The sensitisation tour, according to the Football House, is primarily meant to interface with football stakeholders in the regions by discussing the issues affecting Gambian football, and to further discuss on the process of the Committee, whose mandate is to organise an elective congress by September 15.

The release concluded that the tour delegation will be headed by the chairman of the Committee, Hon. Alhagie Sillah, as well as all the members of the NC. Two staff members of the GFF secretariat and the deputy director of planning, Department of Youth and Sports, Pa Suwareh Fye, will also be part of the delegation.
