NYSC DG Visits Ondo State, As Mimiko Flags Off Monthly Environmental Sanitation For Corps Member

Ondo State has been picked as the destination for the flag-off of the involvement of corp members in the monthly environmental sanitation exercise throughout the federation.

A release obtained by Daily Times Correspodent from the NYSC secretariat in the state says the programme which is an integral part of their Community Development Service (CDS) would be flagged off by Governor Olusegun Mimiko in Akure on Saturday.

The statement added that the inauguration is part of activities lined up to mark a two-day working visit of the NYSC Director General to the sunshine state.

The NYSC Boss, Brigadier-General, Johnson Olawumi is expected to make a courtesy call on Governor Olusegun Mimiko as well as Chairman, NYSC Ondo State Governing Board, who is also the Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports, Mr Bekekhimi Idhiari while in the state.

The Statement also read that Corps members should be fully kited in their NYSC uniform for the flag-off ceremony.
