Ondo declares August 15, 22 public holidays

The Ondo State government has declared August 15 and 22 work-free.

The holiday is to  enable public servants to participate in the voter registration and collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

Prospective voters are expected to submit their temporary voter cards and pick up the PVCs from August 15 to 17.

The registration of fresh voters will hold from August 20 to 22.

Kayode Akinmade, Ondo State’s Commissioner for Information, urged  civil servants and the general public to make good use of the holidays.
