The Timber Producers Association of Zambia says Patriotic Front ministers need orientation on performing their duties as they were too spontaneous in their actions.
TPAZ vice president Charles Masange said that the laisser-faire attitude of the PF in reviewing the Forestry Act was just one way where they blew cold on an important matter but were eager to randomly pounce on illegal timber dealers.
Masange said that TPAZ was disappointed with the manner the illegal timber business was being dealt with in an uncoordinated manner.
“How can they say we wait for parliament when people have to eat we have loans that cannot wait that long in this business. I think these PF Ministers need orientation with their duties it is like what they do just comes from their heads,” he said.
