The Divine Comedy – Heaven, Hell and Purgatory From The Perspective Of Modern African Artists

72 women, who had been selected among locals in a casting several weeks ago, took part in the performance called “Houris” by Moroccan artist Majida Khattari that touches on the traditional Muslim concept of Paradise. Khattari interprets a tradition of the Prophet Muhammad, after which martyrs are expected after the death of 72 young women.
