Pilgrimage 2014: Gaidam Appoints Emir Of Bade As Amirul Hajj

Gov. Ibrahim Gaidam of Yobe State has appointed the Emir of Bade who is also the Vice Chairman of the State Council of Chiefs, Alhaji Abubakar Umar Suleiman as the leader of the State’s pilgrims or Amirul Hajj to the 2014 pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

 

The Royal Father will lead an 11-man team which will oversee the activities, welfare and conduct of pilgrims from the state during the Hajj exercise.

 

A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Engr. Baba Goni Machina said the Amirul Hajj team will be inaugurated by Governor Gaidam at a date to be announced later.

 

“The Amirul Hajj team will oversee the welfare of the State’s pilgrims to this year’s pilgrimage to the Holy Land right from the Hajj Camp until their return home at the end of the Hajj exercise”, the statement said.
