Police Nab Security Officer in RDA Theft

zambia_policeThe Zambia police have fished out the security guard who was on duty the night there was a break in at the Road Development Agency where K120, 000 and US$200 went missing alongside a safe and two laptops.

A Group Four security personnel identified as Namangolwa Mubita had been on the run since the theft took place last week but was located in Sikeela village in Western Province.

Mubita was nabbed and the police have recovered K7, 000 from him.

The suspect has since been ferried to Lusaka where he will be tried and expected to name his accomplices.
