ROAD-WORKS1The Zambia Police has warned and cautioned four Zambia Road Development Agency officials in connection with the theft of over K128, 000 and two laptops.

According to the police the theft involved K128, 000, two laptops, US$200 with the safe valued at K25, 000.

The four RDA officers cautioned are from the accounts department while one security guard is still on the run.

On Monday thieves broke into RDA offices after breaking in through the door and stole the safe with sources indicating that explosives were used in the criminal act.

RDA is notoriously famed for its lucrative contracts with the auctioning of contracts stationed at State House on the command of President Michael Sata upon taking over office.

It is headed by long time PF Central Committee member and transporter Willie Nsanda who is the board chairperson.
