The weather in Los Angeles might be scorching hot right now, but it’s not the only thing sizzling – thanks to the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Real Madrid football star sent pulses racing as he flashed his toned and tanned torso while he was being driven away from a training session yesterday afternoon.

Perching on the back of a golf buggy with an ice pack strapped to his ankle, the Portuguese heartthrob looked ripped to perfection as he showed off his muscular physique in a pair of navy blue shorts.

‘The soccer here is good, but it can be better. If I can help it to be better, soccer here, I can help. I think they are great; they are in a good way. I hope to come here to play one day.’

It’s back to work for Ronaldo after a summer of sun-soaked holidays.

After Portugal were knocked out of the Euro 2012 Championships, the star jetted to Ibiza with a group of pals, before enjoying lavish breaks in St Tropez and Thailand with his Russian supermodel girlfriend, Irina Shayk.
