The Emir of Kanam, in central zone of Plateau State, Alhaji  Muazu Babangida, has cautioned the members of National Assembly not to treat the report of National Conference with laxity when finally passed to them by the President.


Babangida, who gave the warning in Kanam in an interview with newsmen in his Place, said that, that report demand justice and fair play in the interest of the nation at large.


According to him, that reports concerns the wellbeing of the entire people of the country and therefore should be given the utmost attention it deserves.


“The people who prepared that report, painstakingly deliberated on the way forward for the entire country therefore it should be desired attention and pass into law areas which would unite us.


“If the report is properly handled by the legislators, the various agitations and the problem of leadership will be tackled to some certain level for the good of the nation, “ he said.


The emir noted that, the nation had been able to attain desired development level simply because our leaders lacked the fear of God in them.


He argued that, unless the fear of God is in the lives of our leaders, the led Nigeria would move forward as expected.


According to him, it was because the absence of the fear of God that corruption thrives and lust for wealth among the youths abound.
