Samaritan Purse Commits US$1M to Ebola Fight
The Country Director of Samaritan Purse International, Mr. Kendell Kauffeldt, said his organization with the help of partners and donors is putting forward US$1M in Emergency Response to the Ebola virus.
Mr. Kauffeldt also stated that eight medical personnel, including doctors and nurses, are already in Liberia to help in the fight against the deadly disease.
He said the SP’s Disease Assistance Response Team (DART) is setting up a second Emergency Response Center in a bid to expand the current Ebola center at the ELWA Hospital.
