At an event promised to be filled with superlative entertainment, frills, thrills and glamour, the Series headliner, KSA, has promised he will be giving the best of his performances.

“The Glo Evergreen show coming up tonight will feature the best of my performances in my 50 years on stage,” said the master guitarist.

He described the Series as a good development that will afford him the opportunity to connect with his fans and delight them in a special way.

The music legend will also be sharing the stage with two of Nigeria’s young stars: D’Banj and Yemi Sax. The collaboration would offer fans the opportunity to see an eclectic blend of young and old musical greats.

KSA assured that they will jointly give their fans a memorable night.

He stated that the Evergreen series has provided a remarkable platform for Nigeria’s music legends to perform with younger ones and mentor them, thus helping to raise the quality of contemporary music in Nigeria and Africa.

P.M.NEWS learnt that tonight’s event, organised by the leading telecoms company, Globacom, is dedicated to King Sunny Ade, one of Africa’s greatest music maestros, for his consistency in the past 50 years and contributions to the Juju music genre.

“We will not only play the best of our hot tunes but also collaborate on stage with the maestro, KSA to entertain the audience and take them down memory lane with his evergreen songs. It will be a night to remember,” D’Banj said.

The Glo Evergreen series is a special music concert packaged by Globacom to honour outstanding African musicians who have contributed immensely to the growth and development of the continents’ music industry for decades.

The first edition of the Glo Evergreen Series was held in September 2013 and it was dedicated to Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey.

Globacom is collaborating with two top Nigerian companies, Guinness and Arik Air to celebrate the music legend.
